BOXOX • PRINTING & PACKAGING
Quality is a controlled process, not a final glance.
The objective is to make sure the approved specification, artwork and produced quantity agree before dispatch.
Quality requirements vary by product. BOXOX records the controls that matter to the job rather than applying one generic checklist to every format.
BEFORE PRODUCTION
Specification & artwork control.
- Confirm material, GSM / board, size, quantity and finishing
- Confirm the final approved artwork version
- Check bleed, image resolution, colour setup and production layers
- Review special instructions, packing and delivery requirements
DURING PRODUCTION
Process checks.
- Registration and print consistency appropriate to the process
- Colour comparison against approved reference where available
- Dimensional and die-cut / crease alignment checks
- Finishing alignment for foil, UV, emboss and lamination
- Binding, folding, gluing and construction checks
BEFORE DISPATCH
Final readiness.
- Quantity and packing verification
- Visible defect sampling appropriate to the job
- Label / carton identification where required
- Dispatch documentation and destination check
- Customer-specific QC documentation where commercially agreed
TOLERANCES
Commercial printing has process tolerances.
Paper, ink, humidity, machine setup, finishing and repeat batches can introduce normal production variation. Critical tolerances should be agreed in writing before production, particularly where exact colour, dimensions or fit are essential.
