How to Prepare a Packaging RFQ
A useful packaging RFQ gives suppliers enough information to quote the same requirement instead of making different assumptions.

What to know before you specify it.
Include the product type, internal or external dimensions, quantity, board / material if known, printing colours, finishing, structure or dieline, insert requirement, packing, delivery city and target date. If you have an existing sample, artwork or reference image, attach it. If a certification, food-contact requirement or exact tolerance is mandatory, state it explicitly before quotation.

A guide is not a substitute for the production specification.
The final choice depends on size, quantity, artwork, substrate, end use, finishing, budget and delivery timeline.
