Reduce unnecessary material, avoid over-engineering and choose recyclable or recycled options where they are suitable and verifiable.
BOXOX does not treat sustainability as a decorative claim. Material origin, recyclability, certification and process claims should only be used where they can be supported.
DESIGN FOR LESS
Use what the product actually needs.
- Right-size packaging to reduce unnecessary board and shipping volume
- Reduce unnecessary layers, inserts and mixed materials
- Choose structures that protect the product without over-engineering
- Plan quantities to reduce obsolescence from artwork changes
MATERIAL OPTIONS
Consider the full application.
- Recycled-content paper and board where suitable
- Recyclable paper-based structures where performance allows
- FSC-certified or other responsibly sourced options when specifically available and documented
- Lower-plastic or plastic-free alternatives where technically practical
- Water-based / lower-impact process options where available from the selected production route

Say only what can be substantiated.
Any environmental logo, certification, recycled-content claim or food-contact claim should be based on current supplier / manufacturer documentation for the specific material and job.
