What is Bleed in Printing?
Bleed is artwork that extends beyond the final trim edge so normal cutting movement does not leave an unwanted white line.

A common commercial bleed value is 3 mm, but the required amount depends on the product and process. Keep critical text and logos safely inside the trim line and confirm the dieline / bleed specification for packaging and large-format jobs.
